Christine Whitelaw, MD is the owner and medical director of Spaquena.  She oversees all medical treatments and staff training.  She meets with all clients before any aesthetic injections to address their concerns and questions.  She is available for an aesthetic consultation for anyone who is unsure about which treatment they may need, who may have questions about a service, or who may want an opinion on which treatment is best suited to their need.

During her training, Dr. Whitelaw won a resident teaching award at Eastern Virginia School of Medicine and the Chairman's Achievement Award at the University of Louisville.  She has published numerous research articles and was recently featured as the speaker in an educational DVD for other physcians on laser hair removal.  She was also awarded a 2008 BBB TORCH award for Marketplace Ethics. 

Dr. Whitelaw attends conferences, reads journals, and takes online courses to keep abreast of the latest advancements in the aesthetic and bariatric fields.  She was the first physician to offer lipodissolve in this area and is currently the only one using auotologous filler.

Dr. Whitelaw is currently building a log home on her farm in Oldham county where she lives with her husband and four children.  She enjoys tennis, reading, and traveling.
